It shouldn't have surprised her and it really didn't.  There were only a few that would accept her back into the fold.

The order to kill her was still out there though, there were some that would never forgive her for having fallen.

Even though Hell is known for being blistering hot, Anna always found the air chilled whenever she was near a demon.  She could never explain it, nor did she care to but everything just always felt colder.  Maybe it was her, maybe it was the chill she remembered from when she was human and facing demons as they tracked her.  When she kept seeing them everything and was eventually locked away.  She had been touched by them and it left a cold stain on her, one that she wasn't sure was gone even as she was now back in the Grace of God.

Walking down the dark hall of the children's ward in a hospital in south Texas somewhere, every sense was alert as she looked for the source of the darkness she was sensing.  It was like a worm wriggling in the pit of her stomach, threatening to gnaw away and destroy the good inside of her.  It hated her power, it hated knowing that she was there and she knew that the demon was attempting to hide at the moment.  Most likely to try to surprise her somehow, they liked to think they were sneaky and unpredictable but she had enough experience to know better.

As the scream escaped her, urging the others to cover or close their eyes, she felt the light soar through her and she swore that it was going to burn her from the inside out. It filled her being, taking over her and filling the barn as the whole world seemed to explode for her. Then it was gone, the light fading to darkness as the roar of grace became deafening silence to her ears. She was breathless as she tried to catch her breath, opening her eyes slowly to look around the empty space that she stood in now. It wasn't cold and it wasn't warm, she wasn't sure that she felt anything and that worried her. Had her Father cast her aside even though she found her Grace?

Wrapping her arms around herself, she turned slowly to look for a light, anything that would tell her that she was forgiven. Or
to tell her what her fate was at least. "Hello?" She whispered, looking around for something, anyone.
